I feel, most of the time, like a burning, humming engine, waiting to move the world around myself. My fuel is information, music, film, books, magazines, people, process. The operating system I function off of is a reflection of my own personal philosophy, consistently attempting to navigate the lattice that holds the world together, examining whatever place in the web that I hold at a given moment and trying my best to understand it, to peice it all together, see the bigger picture. I occassionally run into conflict with some things in my life. For instance, I own a sword which is the single most expensive thing I've ever purchased, and which I regard as a physical representation of my soul and being. I maintain it meticulously, cleaning it any time it comes in contact with something and training myself to use it to better understand the nature of my own being. However, I can't seem to maintain my bills, or keep my apartment clean.
I am interested in philosophy as a means to take the reigns on my world and steer it towards the oasis in the desert.
