Alter

At the most basic, this goal means that I want to change something, anything, in the way that I hope to see it changed. But also, I have to examine the basic meanings of the word, as there are more than just those that regard change. Consider alter as a place, a thing, on which sacrifices are made. What sacrifices must be made, to see the sort of change that I dream of in the world? I must dedicate myself to making those sacrifices, as much as I dedicate myself to seeing that change.
